KRUG FESTIVAL - INTO THE WILD
Last year Krug hosted a festival on Osea Island, a private Island off the coast near Malden. We arrived in blacked out cars and enjoyed an incredible evening of champagne and music curated by Mick Jones. Guests were treated to performances at various locations around the island from acts including the Mystery Jets, Willow Robinson and Rationale, it was really quite magical. To top it all off, we stayed in beautiful 4 poster beds in beach side cottages (although mine didn't get much use!). Michelin star chef, Michael O Hare, served a sumptious feast including the main course being presented on a unique canvas signed with lyrics from The Clash; handwritten by Mick which you could take home (whatever next!).
So next up....is Krug Into The Wild. Whereby Francis Mallman (the Michelin Starred chef you may recognise as the Patagonian based legend from Chefs Table on Netflix), is cooking a banquet for 300 guests on 10 foot fires in different spots of the festival and each dish is paired with Krug Champagne - don't mind if I do! The festival is based in the grounds of the 18th century heritage site -The Grange in Hampshire. There will be emersive music experiences throughout the festival, acts include Jacob Banks, JONES and Ady Suleiman.
This festival is a one night only affair with chic transport back to London at midnight. It's perfect for a non 'typical festival goer' guest, to dip your toes into the water with an immersive and memorable experience but be in the safety of your own bed that night.
