Here's something a bit different for you.
Chuck your wellies in the attic, pack up your troubles and some sunnies and prepare to throw yourself into 3 days of madness in the idyllic jungle (and on the beach) of North Goa. This year, the second edition of festival will take place at the stunning Por Do Sol in Ashwem Beach - the most chilled setting you could imagine. Groove into the night under a canopy of palm trees overlooking the sea while you watch the sun set and glug on cocktail. Get me there now!
The last year GOAT- goers described their music experience as: ‘sick sound systems, awesome visuals and sensory overload'. This year includes Moxie, Horse Meat Disco, Amp Fiddler, Joe Goddard, Moses Boyd: Solo X, Mafalda and Zokhuma and Tiga. You'll hear a wide range of vibes from house and soul to jazz infusions and organic tribal and contemporary sounds it's a truly international affair.
I adore the contrast of this festival. Spending the nights dancing around like a lunatic and the days chilling HARD. Being a proper Londoner- it's not just the music which is the pull of this festival but the opportunity to energise mind, body and soul with all of the wellbeing activities. Goat offers everything from yoga to hula hoop workshops (you will not catch me doing that one!) Find me cotching at the onsite spa trying out every therapy they have to offer and getting my body painted all over with tribal body art and psychedelic bindis.
