ELI AND FUR
House DJ duo
BPM would have to be up there as one of our favourites, the location, the line up and the fact that it goes on for a good length of time. We both love Mexico. It was our first year playing this past January, loved it.
CAMP, GLAMP, HOTEL OR FRIENDS HOUSE?
Fur used to have a VW camper before it got too old and stopped working, that was one of our favourite places to stay, it was always a bit hit and miss trying to actually make it to the festivals, sometimes we would arrive on a tow truck but a camper is totally worth it, running water and a comfy bed helps make the whole experience more enjoyable.
Anything comfortable and/or co ordinated. A hat is always useful. We both love black.
top festival tip?
Bring loo roll, water and paracetamol.
WORST FESTIVAL MOMENT?
Bit of a contradiction seeing as we put it as our favourite festival this year but Fur had a bad case of the food poisoning at BPM. Thank god there was a portaloo next to the stage. It was bitter sweet moment.
BEST FESTIVAL MOMENT?
We really enjoyed playing at Woogie Weekend this year, it was a day time set, the weather was beautiful, the vibes were great. It's just outside LA and has a real hippy feel, to it, super relaxed, we both love California and smaller festivals are always super special. An intimate set is also always fun to play, especially in the sun. Had a lot of love for that moment, had to leave for another gig that evening, leaving on a high was great though, would love to go back to that one.
BEST PERFORMANCE YOU'VE EVER SEEN AT A FESTIVAL?
That's impossible. This year Maya Jane Coles was great at Oasis festival. We also both love Lana Del Ray, saw her a couple of years back at Coachella and that was incredible. Prince at Hop Farm was also an awesome experience too, so glad we got to see him.
NEXT ON YOUR FESTIVAL HITLIST?
Burning Man and SXM, a festival in the Caribbean sounds ideal.
